For 3daysofdesign 2026, Thorup Copenhagen presents Material Intentions — a curated showroom exhibition exploring furniture and lighting shaped by thoughtful design, material choices, and responsible production.
Located in the heart of Copenhagen’s Frederiksstaden district, the exhibition brings together existing collections, new product launches, and material studies, offering insight into the intentional journey behind each piece.

Throughout the exhibition, Thorup Copenhagen hosts Slow Brew & Design Dialogues — informal conversations centred on design, production, and materiality.
On 11 June, founder and MA Designer Kasper Thorup joins Simon Mayall, CSO and Co-founder of Quantified Impacts, for a conversation on design quality, evolving sustainability requirements, and the role of data in shaping the future of design.
At its core, Material Intentions reflects a belief that lasting value is created through intention, integrity, and a long-term perspective.
The exhibition will be open to the public during 3daysofdesign.
